Using your voice for healing is widely used by indigenous cultures around the world. Jess is specifically trained in Nāda Yoga [which is Sanskrit for the Yoga of Sound, Vibration and Frequency] - a meditative art and science that has been used for 1000’s of years to bring peace, connection and transformation.

Rather than use different physical yoga positions to release tension and increase flexibility within different areas of the body, in Nāda Yoga we utilize different toning sounds and rhythmic mantras to support different affects - from enhanced organ function, to release of unserving energy, specific chakra nourishment to ventral vagus nerve stimulation supporting deep somatic connection and the myriad of health and relationship benefits that come from that.

Whilst you will be welcome to move whenever you like, this practice is primarily seated.

This workshop is suitable for anyone 14 yrs of age and up, who is up for real growth.

Are you ready for people to really tune in and hear your words of acknowledgement and honour? To feel more confident in your own skin? To connect with your inner warrior? Would you like to better understand and harness the masculine and feminine warrior energy of the ancestral Māori of Aotearoa?

This interactive workshop will cover traditional Māori practices including the warrior energy of haka (traditional power dance), the hongi (sharing the breath of life), powerful masculine and feminine healing practices, and soooo much more.

 

Participants will leave with ancient yet practical tools to support them in the way they stand, speak, listen, connect and move powerfully through this life and into the next.

Winter Solstice Mantra Meditation Experience

Our 1hr30 mantra meditation experience 7.15-8.45 PM

Traditionally, the winter solstice is a sacred time of year spent in rest and reflection - setting intentions in honour of the darkness [both outside and within] and the new light, life, insight, strength and growth that birth from it.

Whilst we may touch on this in our practice, my objective for our practice is MUCH more chill than this - it is for you to enjoy some nourishing 'time out', via some 'time in' deep meaningful connection this holiday season - and of course a lot of FUN!

We will gather and use our healing voices to create and bathe in very high vibrational sound currents set to bring forth various healing affects to body, mind and spirit - depending on the toning sounds and mantras we practice.

Our voice vibrations will stimulate our ventral vagus circuit supporting the shift of our nervous systems into one that not only supports rest, digestion, repair and renewal, but a biological deep sense of CONNECTION - connection with ourselves, those around us, nature and the world beyond.

Whilst it is so much more, you may think of it like a highly intentional 'sound-healing sing-along'.


BONUS REJUVENATION FUN ON OFFER:

For those that can & wish to stay on, there will be an opportunity for connecting & sharing with others after our mantra experience - maybe even some dancing!

ONE - A full water bottle [or thermos mug of tea].
Yes to keep those vocal cords moist, but also to charge the water molecules up with the resonance of the mantras so that you can continue to sip on high frequency vibrations long after you walk out the door.
TWO - Comfy clothes!
You will be invited to move as much as you want, but the majority of our practice is done from a seated position - wear clothes that will support your comfort.
THREE Journal & Pen. 
You never know what inspiration you might NEED to write down!
FOUR - Anything else you think would add to your comfort during our seated experience.
There will be seats available for everyone, as well as a limited supply of yoga props. For those who prefer to sit on the floor, I encourage you to bring anything you think will add to your comfort experience - whether that be a blanket or a meditation pillow!

N O R M A L L Y at the time of the new moon, I suggest taking timeout to reflect, mediate & set new intentions so that you can better align your next move with what is best for your body, mind & spirit.

This is because the new moon brings with it energies that particularly support these processes - & why not make the most of the natural supportive powers on offer?

But right now let's keep it real! Times are different & you likely already have a lot on your plate.

Whilst utilizing this time to reflect, gain clarity & set intentions WOULD be beneficial - for many this is perhaps not what is needed or even realistic right now. Perhaps it is more a time for doing what you can to simply get through.

If you feel like connecting in a casual upbeat light meditative space, then I welcome you to join me this weekend from the comfort of your own bubble for this LIVESTREAM event.

I have no massive 'save the world' objective - simply a chill intention to help YOU connect in with yourself & transmute the vibratory frequency of your insides to one that is more conducive to an embodied sense of calm, security & peace.


WHEN

Please arrive 5 mins early. I am keen to start on time as if this was a regular class hosted in person at a physical studio.

DETAILS

This event will be 30-40mins total in length.

I will endeavour to set you up with a short 30 sec - 1 min meditation you can do at home when desired/needed - to help you shift your vibration towards a frequency that promotes more positive thoughts & a better mood.

VENUE

This event will be live streamed from one of my fav spots along the Bow River within the Canadian Rocky Mountains bringing in some virtual nature nourishment direct into your bubble [weather permitting]

Ideally join in from a disruption free peaceful nook within your bubble [ "Is this even possible?" - you think to yourself, as your kids currently hang off your leg & your dog screams around behind you ;) | The key word here is #ideally :) ]

Find a space. Close the door. Light a candle. Diffuse some essential oils.

Or simply grab a pillow & sit down.

A comfortable seat will be advantageous for the seated meditation - however you are welcome to move as you please & the meditation it self will be about 25mins.
